If you want the basic breakdown of how it helps, go back a few pages and start reading.

Do some of these idiots not realize EVERY.SINGLE.PIECE of these exotics help feed local tribes? Sure, most people want the photo op and head, but they surely aren't just throwing these things to the lions.

You better clarify that you're not talking about this incident. They're a little slow and need things spelled out.

Welcome to the adult table. We're trying to keep the crosstalk of the kids table out of the discussion.

100% agree. They kill everything in mass quantities for potions, home remedies, etc. Tigers, whales, you name they kill it.

Congrats on repeating a 'witty' phrase you read elsewhere.

As a matter of fact, I have read it before.

If this dude was in bow range, then surely he would have seen a fricking collar, right? I don't hate on hunting big cats, but this dude or someone he was with clearly fricked up and will pay big time for it.

Yeah, you invented that particular insult about hunters.

I'm sure you also invented it about:

Gun owners
Men who drive big trucks
Men who drive sports cars
Etc.

Not Cecil.

quote:

The joint statement said Theo Bronkhorst, a professional guide with Bushman Safaris, is believed to have lured the lion to Honest Trymore Ndlovu’s farm, where it was killed. Its carcass was discovered days later by trackers, the statement said.

During a nighttime pursuit, the hunters tied a dead animal to their car to lure the lion out of a national park, said Johnny Rodrigues, chairman of the Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force. Palmer shot it with a bow and arrow, injuring the animal. The wounded lion was found 40 hours later and shot dead with a gun, Rodrigues said in the statement.

The lion was skinned and beheaded. The hunters tried to destroy the lion’s collar, fitted with a tracking device, but failed, the statement said.

If that is what happened this group should be prosecuted as poachers.

I have no problem with legal lion hunts.

We HAVE to?

Also...how many lions are there? Are we anywhere near max capacity? I am not trolling....just curious.
