Bonds was an awful left fielder once he got on the juice. Guy could barely move out there and was a defensive liability.

Pat Hentgen and Alex Fernandez... average pitchers. If a list of the Top 10 current pitchers were made, who would be the Pat Hengten's and Alex Fernandezes of the list 10 years from now?

Alfonzo was OK but was 2010 WS MVP... Shawn Estes probably best known for being the guy too afraid to throw at Roger Clemens. Neifi Perez? Yikes what happened to him?

Steroids....
still had a solid 12 year career, over 200 home runs and 100 stolen bases... he hit 30+ home runs twice and won a gold glove

Sure not a coincidence he won 8 Gold Gloves between 1990-1998 and 0 after

He wasn't awful until the end, once he hit 35 and started having issues he began to really decline. But again how many players are playing GG defense at the age of 34 (how old he was in 1999)

Cueto and Kershaw

If Hentegen and Fernandez were half as accomplished as either maybe... I mean haven't you realized your Kershaw mistake?

How was Andruw Jones not on his best fielders list? Best defensive CF I've ever watched

You must have never watched Jim Edmonds.

If Kershaw fell off like some people think he has began to.. He has 3 CYs and is a 5 time all star with 105 career wins.. Hentgen at the same point in his career (conveniently right as Joe Morgan made his list in 1998) made 3 all star games, won a CY and had 94 wins.. Not too far off. I was just answering the hypothetical.. I don't think Kershaw will completely fall off as some contend.

Andruw Jones juiced also I think

I just remember how fat and big he was when he played for the Rangers and White Sox toward the end of his career. Looked nothing like the Andruw Jones of the late 90s physically

Andruw was better than Edmonds. 10 straight gold gloves. Also I believe it was Ken Griffey Jr. That said most of Edmonds diving catches should've been routine

Alfonzo retired in like 05. Renteria was the 2010 WS MVP

I think that's more of Andruw just getting lazy than the juice. In that era though it wouldn't surprise me
