LSU's Les Miles, when asked if he considered grad transfer QBs: "We would've loved to have been in the running for the Ohio State QB."

I love les miles but what good does this do? I'm sure Harris confidence soars when he hears stuff like this. Honestly that comment does no good

Eh,it's true though. I would have been excited as heck if Miller would have transferred here to be honest. Thats all in the past now though.

And while Les Miles had good things to say about his two returning quarterbacks — Anthony Jennings and Brandon Harris — on his ESPN tour Monday, he also said he would have been interested in one of those graduate transfer QBs.

His confidence in QBs Anthony Jennings and Brandon Harris: I like both guys. They're both improved. We started with no experience and now these guys have developed and understand how to snap-cadence and function the offense. They're much better. So we're looking forward to the fall.

If that comment ruins Harris' confidence he shouldn't be playing college football.

Leslie has absolutely no idea how to handle a QB situation. First he would have to learn how to recruit that position to know how to talk about it.

I agree I was just stressing how there was no point in making that comment. Doesn't help anyone

I appreciate honesty, but this makes no sense given how he has been so sensitive with his quarterbacks..

Stop acting like Harris is a teenage girl who gets her feelings hurt over every little thing. I'm sure he doesn't care one bit

Should read "If that comment ruins Harris' confidence, he shouldn't get on the Rant"

Our QBs aren't jealous girlfriends. They don't get angry when they hear another girl's (QB's) name. More QBs = more competition = better results, in my book. Iron sharpens iron.

I agree. I would have loved to have miller. However he is not coming so there's no point to miles mentioning him...at all

Les said back in the spring that they were considering a 'one year solution' while responding to a question about transfer qbs. It was widely interpreted as applying to either Golson or Miller, so it's not the first time Les has made a remark along these lines this year.

True. confidence is built by being successful on the field. what Les says won't make a bit of difference.

He was answering a question. Some of you people have to really try to be this fricking obtuse.

Here is a hint for you. Harris isn't a delicate, sensitive and insecure little momma's boy like you are.

True, most athletes are not weak-minded like some fans.

The man was asked a question and gave a candid response. This is like Haley's Comet. Appreciate it. We may not see it again.

Twice Miller was Big 10 offensive player of the year. Harris should aspire to be as productive as Miller in his career. I don't know why he would feel slighted by Les' comment.

We only have two QBs we can count on. Maybe he was addressing depth rather than the starting role.
