any recommendations or suggestions? I already know to arrive early unless I enjoy long waits.

Crab claw appetizer was really good when I went. Its a simple dish that can be made at home though.

Friend got the shrimp and grits and it was better than my fish of the day.

We didn't wait long for a two top

Bingo. If you like soft shell crab, go with the Ponch. If not, go with the papillote

Is this the same restaurant in Destin? Love the Blackened Redfish.

Oysters three ways app. Any fish dish I've never enjoyed. Seriously. All the fish dishes taste like they've been sauteed in old grease.

Fresh Louisiana oysters baked in their shell with our special Lagniappe stuffing and jumbo lump crabmeat.

Keep a look out at Matherne's. I have found them for cheap cheap there.

The filet louisianne is really good (it's an "off menu" item I think, but basically a filet topped with crabmeat and some kind of delicious sauce).

If they happen to have roasted red pepper soup, make sure to order that too. I think that's my favorite thing they make.

Don't get the scallops unless you love cumin. They don't tell you it's in there, but it is.
