Probably because we've won 53 out of 64 games this year. I wouldn't recommend using a 1 game sample in predicting what we're capable of.
I won't predict that we'll win the national title or even get to the Championship Series, but I don't know why anyone would think we're not capable of doing it.

Probably the best thing for us, now they have to burn a new pair of pitchers. Hopefully Fullerton holds on and we can take down Vandy with Lange.

I truly do not get the doom and gloom of this fan base. We have won more than any other team in the nation. We tend to respond very well to losses. We lost one series all season to an inferior team on some seriously unfortunate events.. Good gosh we can win three straight to get the the championship. We won 5 straight since our last loss.. We can do it again. What is with this pussy attitude from so many

Why is everyone obsessed with pitching when we score 1 run through 7 innings? We need to hit good pitching better. That was our problem in 2013, 2014 and now.

Agreed. Run production is the issue. Hitting and specifically clutch hitting is and has been an issue. As much of a fan of Javier as I wasn't, it seems bringing dead bats to the postseason is also a problem for Canizarro as well thus far into his career.
Either that or this team peaked midway through the year and simply rode the crest of their wave into Omaha. Which is troubling for a completely different reason.

Looking ahead it's going to rain alot in Omaha today, we may not start at 2 tomorrow I hope we don't I want to be able to watch from home.

It's been raining all night here in Omaha and it is still coming down pretty hard now.
I can see TDAmeritrade Stadium out of my hotel window and even though it is a dark, gray day, they haven't even bothered to turn on the stadium's lights.
The suspended game won't be restarting any time soon.

The Vandy game is set to resume at 2:00. Now the other games today will be pushed back, that may end up affecting our game as well.
