He must have done a search and this was the only John Carter thread that came up.

John Carter was a pretty entertaining movie to me, I've watched it a couple times.
Tomorrowland had an interesting look but never explained who the Tomorrowland guys were or how they came to be. The conclusion is "imagination is good." OK, not very overwhelming.

Yeah, Tomorrowland was kind of all over the place. So the Earth is on a precise countdown to end in nuclear war, global warming, drought, flood and famine? Not to mention Clooney was a little creepy in the cranky, old dude having flashbacks with littlle robot girl role.

But if it gets kids to look up tachyons, then cool I guess.

I can't remember what part of the movie it was but the plot jumped without explanation at one point. I rewound it and it still didn't make sense.

So I looked up the writer and...Damon Lindelhoff was the writer. Then it all made sense why it made no fricking sense.
