I don't see a problem with inmates helping out taxpayers.

I see we have a mutual friend or 2.
I've known them for a while. That's a great place in the summer to pull up on the sand bar when the river isn't flooded. I went to high school with KC and have know JL for 15 years or so.

I went to Hooters for lunch and "research purposes". Here is the next problem...
Between the retaining wall and their front steps I saw 2 gar and a bunch of shad. When it goes down there will be dead fish everywhere and smell terrible.

None that were showing... That's a step in the right direction.

Well that's good.
We had to move boats Saturday down at the lake, boat house under water. Coming up fast down there.

What about the Saltgrass Steak House? Is it above the water?

It's good. The water is literally up to the front steps and they are using side entrances to stay open.

Looks like at least some of the folks at River Bluff are fighting the good fight and have kept the water from inside of their homes. Per KTBS.

Wife just called and said powers out in Broadmoor. I'm sure that'll be my fault.

When I lived in Baton Rouge, I bought a townhouse in a community called Ridge Pecan. I had to endure two floods before I got my stupid arse out. I should have done what the majority of the home owners did and sold theirs after the first flood. After the second flood, I let that piece of crap go back to the mortgage company. I presented my case and my credit rating was never affected. Even though I live in Al. I currently own a home in Denham in the subdivision called the Willows. My house is currently being rented.

A lot of limbs and trees down. I assume that was straight line winds...
We have power near the Ockley Bridge.

Huge gas pipeline busted just south of river bluff sunken neighborhood. 30 feet of water blowing out now in the middle of the river. I'm hearing reports of multiple people injured. Please clear out of the river. I'm heading over to help out all night with the sand bags and also going to open a sammich stand next to the levee. Stop by and say hi if you are out tonight
