If you won $250 million powerball, how much would you give the HS you attended?

Say you have $125 million after taxes, how much would you give the high school you attended? I'd probably give them 2-3 million

nothing to any of the educational institutions I attended. I paid for my education and none really gave me more than I invested-

There are many charitable organizations that deserve donations- I would look in this area

Contrary to popular belief, throwing money at a problem does not automatically fix it.

I might create a scholarship fund, though.

I'd probably cut my old high school a check for $5M. I never realized it at the time, but the education I got from my parochial high school was indeed very valuable. Just wish I would have taken better advantage of it. So yeah, I'd help perpetuate that type of educating.

Not one dime. Why would I give a public high school any money?

Absolutely nothing.

There's only one instance I'm donating to a school. I've always said if I was rich, I'd donate enough to the LSU Mechanical Engineering department. Two conditions; they change the building back to CEBA (dont know what they plan to call the new building so I dont know if this is even relavent anymore ), and fire one professor who taught a class that was not required at any other university from my understanding. He wrote the book, "taught" the class, and graded on opinion. I dont hate the guy, I'd pay him too so he wouldnt need money. But I think the program would be better without him and a good way to blow some money.

Mine's gone after they sold to OP. Since, the buildings have been demolished because of Katrina. I'd start a high school.

My old high school is probably close to closing anyway. I think the graduating class this past year was 5 or 6. I would buy a bus and donate money to operate that bus so the kids are not stuck in a F ranked public school system once the private school closes.

I would give TAF, donate to help renovate Huey P Long Fieldhouse (where all my classes were), start a scholarship for students attendng LSU and my fraternity money at LSU. I will never give a penny to LSU itself. You are not going to close with a 8% budget cut and especially since you waste money like LSU does.

I would also donate to my grad school and my medical school.
