At the same stage of their 30 y/o seasons:

Jordan: 2 Finals, 2 Championships, 2 Finals MVPs, 3 NBA MVPs, and was about to play in and win his 3rd straight Finals

LeBron: 5 Finals, 2 Championships, 2 Finals MVPs, 4 NBA MVPs, and is about to play in his 6th Finals and his 5th straight

By any objective measure, LeBron is better than Jordan at this point in their lives...

What about scoring titles and all-defensive teams?

Except LeBron James went to the NBA straight out of high school. Michael Jordan spent four seasons playing college ball at North Carolina.

New year, same argument.

at the same stage of their 12th NBA season-
quote:

LeBron: 5 Finals, 2 Championships, 2 Finals MVPs, 4 NBA MVPs, and is about to play in his 6th Finals and his 5th straight

Jordan- 5 Finals, 5 Championships, 5 Finals MVPs,6 MVPs

Objectively speaking, Jordan is better than James at this point in their careers.

Let me add more.

Magic Johnson at age 30: 8 Finals, 5 Championships, 3 Finals MVPs, 2 NBA MVPs

Magic >>>> Lebron.

Lebron at 30 also had been in the league longer but hey lets forget about that.

Everyone is pointing out that you are conveniently forgetting MJ played college ball.

You are also forgetting that Lebron picked his teammates

All of this is objectively, factually correct and is not subject to opinion. Anyone who disagrees with anything asserted in the quote above is wrong--not subjectively wrong, but factually, objectively, mathematically wrong.

Now to read the replies to the post, which I assume are all brilliant.

Jordan blowers can't stand to see stats like this. They want them to be false, but the truth is just to much for them to handle.

LeBron didn't have the pistons to play every year in the playoffs and Jordan wasn't stuck on Pat Riley teams. he had some bad teams and coaches until Phil arrived. There are no one man teams who could've beaten those Detroit teams.
