I hate Olive Garden with a passion...Is there anything good there?

I hate the place to death. But my wife loves it. Today is her b-day and out of ALL places in BR, this is where she wants to go. So I have to take one for the team and go there.
Everytime I'm dragged into that place I usually get the tour of Italy.
What else can I try there that's somewhat decent?
Note: I'll most likely be stopping to McD's on the way home for a pick me up. lol

I agree I have never had an entree there that I liked, so get salad and an app or 2

me and the wife usually go and drink 2 fifths of wine and eat a little.

I like some of their soups (my go to when I go). The Zuppa Toscana or the Chicken Gnocchi is usually what I end up getting with a salad.
Their marinara is so damn salty.

I don't go to OG very much, but the times I've went the food was pretty tasty. I realize that some their customers lack the social skills to be allowed out in public, but I think OG gets a bad rap on here just because that's the way sheep are trained to react. The food ain't bad at all.

she has bad taste in Italian food. Two years ago I was in the same boat with the kids. It was their favorite Italian place too.
The only plus side is it's very cheap. Though all the food tastes like frozen meals.
The best thing may be the tour of italy or the pasta with the filet medallions.
Why not bring her to a real Italian restaurant? IMO people only favor the chains with the premade meals when they haven't sampled enough options.
