I have 3 olive trees, Martini. Got fruit last year and looks like fruit this year as well. Fruit last year got eaten by some critter right before ripe. The only way mine will spring fruit, and I suspect yours, is if we have a particular cold winter. Trees need 200 hrs or so of below 49 weather (not consecutive) in order to flower.

But even without fruit, they are a gorgeous tree with leaves that dont fall. One of mine at my rental property is 4 years in the size of a two story building.

I have 3 as well in my back yard.... The olives are about the size of English Peas at the moment....

Mine are planted in the northern part of East Feliciana Parish about 15 feet apart. I have 6 pears that are large but need work. I'm just starting on those. Also about two hundred blueberry bushes. I've got a lot of work to do.
