If they did it at his work, it was a handheld BF device or scale which use micro-electric current for measurements.

Those are not accurate at all.

in this case it was wrong... twice!

i honestly didnt know what bf% should be. Im not shredded by any means. i can see outlines of 6 pack, but not shredded by any means. This wasnt a brag or look at me thread, the guys in this thread who know me from my previous posts know i work out and been trying to burn the last bit of belly fat for 6 months now. I hit the gym regular and eat very healyhy. I was just wondering about the bf% thing because i had never had it tested before

You're probably somewhere between 13-15%.

Those handheld models are +/-5% accurate, at best.

Wouldn't it just serve as a general idea though? Obviously everyone is different due to frame, etc.

People don't realize that skinny people don't necessarily have lower body fat. It's a PERCENTAGE.

thanks, yes it was that handgeld thing! appreciate the honest answer, so if it is 13-15% how good/bad would that be at my age?

25 looks healthier than 20-22 to me for some reason.
