For the past 6 or so years now, the only big PPV bouts have included either of those two (in tonight's case, it included both).

Floyd says he is done after September. Yeah, he's backed out of retirement before, but it's apparent the end is near. Same goes for Pac. So the question now is who does boxing turn to for the marquee bouts.

Sure there's Wlad and Vitali but no one gives a shite about heavyweight anymore.

Wilder if he takes out Wlad after taking out Fury. Everybody loves a big American heavyweight. He's got one punch power. He's brash. He's got the feel good story because he fights for his daughter. He's huge.

Alvarez obviously. He already has a huge following in Mexico. Golovkin has a chance to be massive with his fighting style. He just needs to beef us his resume a little bit. Also if you know anything about the history of boxing, you would know that huge stars come out of nowhere all the time.

No one. Last night's rather pathetic showing confirms that boxing is essentially done.

Floyd will retire after fighting a nobody rather than a #1 contender
Pac is done, he will not fight again unless he needs more money

Boxing needs that dude who is considered the hardest hitter to step up (fight Mayweather, even though it won't happen)
