Just checking in to see if everyone is happy with the draft picks this year or not. I noticed we picked up a QB from Colorado. I didn't see that coming but I can sort of understand taking the chance.

I'll give the draft a C+ so many unknowns

I'm happy with it.

We got a lot tougher on D, got one of the top OL in the draft, got a steal in PJ Willaims (1st round talent), and finally have an heir at the QB spot.

Not a "sexy" draft, but got a lot of guys that can play.

I'm very happy.

This defense will be much improved and more physical.

Typical Loomis/Payton type draft...they very seldom, if ever, get value.
I really don't have faith in their drafting ability. Maybe this one will be different (I tend to say that every year).

Could end up as the best draft in the Payton era, IMO.

Other than the QB I'm fine with this draft

C-

Guard, WR, and ILB were our biggest needs heading into the draft and we only filled one of them despite having 9 picks. We took a guy at 13 that may not even start this year. Don't really see the point in doubling up on OLBs, though I don't have a problem with either player.

the Peat pick confused me but we may have landed the best tackle in the draft so that's good.

I started yelling like a madman when we picked Anthony. It's about... fricking... time. Thank You.

Kikaha has been a disruptive guy for Washington racking up sacks and tackles for losses. Sounds good to me. Didn't miss a game the last few years so I'm not all that worried about his injury history like some may be.

Surprised we took a QB in the 3rd. I was kind of hoping for a WR but I'm glad we got Grayson. I'd definitely rather have him then somebody like Bryce Petty or Mariota. Sorry, I'm not a fan of QB's for the up tempo HUNH offenses in college. And thank Christ we didn't use a late round flier on Brandon Bridge. Nothing against him but he was frustrating to watch last year for South Al.

Williams was kind of a surprise. Surprised he was still available and that we took a corner at that moment. Not in a good or bad way though. I guess with a lot of picks at our disposal it shouldn't have been a surprise.

Tull seems kind of like Kikaha except he played with a hand on the ground while Kikaha was a stand up DE in college. Don't know what to really think about Tull because of the level of competition but I'm interested to see what he does.

Davison might be the guy who takes Tyrunn Walker's spot in the D-line rotation. It kind of sucked losing Walker so hopefully Davison can get in there and contribute.

Swann will have an uphill battle in a crowded secondary.

Murphy... good luck bro. I'm just tired of typing at the moment.

They let everything play out, try to make a few small moves in earlier rounds, stayed patient. Bigger, smarter and tougher on defense.
