I almost did that in high school...they planted a tree where my car slid parallel to the canal, would have been a bad collision.

I've wondered if people ever slide off in that canal when they park there for football games. Some of them park right on the edge of the embankment.

That canal isnt safe to begin with. It cuts the lake levee very low. It's not safe to have a stream like that that far below your lake level. Asking for a levee failure.
