I've done it and will never do it again. No beer is worth that hassle, their is always a viable substitute that is easy to obtain.

I concur. I like giving my business to places that try to take the hassle out of it. I hate the shite shows...

I agree.

There's also a big difference in running from store to store to buy 4-packs as opposed to going to something like Grand Reserve Day where there are plenty of other great beers to try.

Well, Ishmael, i would agree with you. But i've seen a small portion of your catch. I'd be surpised if you didn't already have a couple kegs of Ghost sitting in your basement.

This is my belief as well. I value my time greatly and hate standing in line. There is so much great beer out there that is readily available to make me want to run around town for a beer release.
