I think Bradley is the only guy capable of doing what jurgen wants there, and we had a few guys that could play a deeper central mid last cycle. Problem is it just doesn't come natural to Bradley and the guys further behind him play defense and recycle well enough to replace him, but don't have the vision or passing to put our guys through like Bradley does. Plus Bradley's runs aren't as effective as he's already further up. Plus teams are able to harass him more.
I would rather he keep trying to find someone else to play that role rather than making MB uncomfortable and less effective while also making his deeper replacement less effective that he would be. Where's zelalem when you need him?
Long story short - Juergen is a nazi out for revenge.

Made some incredible passes in the U21 match yesterday for Arsenal. He isn't ready physically for the that level yet. Perhaps a call up for the Olympic Qualifiers.

Assuming he wants a guy that can link the offense with the deeper midfield, make the right pass 95% of the time in the offensive half and deliver set pieces - we have one of those. He even has World Cup experience. And he can't get a sniff of the national team.
He's no Brad Davis or Miguel Ibarra - but he could probably do the job in a pinch.
