Has to be my favorite sitcom right now.

The overbearing Mom
The hot sister
The idiot older brother
The old school dad
The wise/cool Grandfather

A lot of my childhood was spent in the 80's, so I can relate to all the shite they talk about... I find the show hilarious.

I can't help but scan the background of their house and see all the same shite I grew up with.

The music is a major bonus as well, along with Patton Oswalt narrating as the youngest son (Adam Goldberg)

The show is based on Adam Goldbergs actual family growing up. I love how they show the actual home video of something that just happened in the episode.

This show is a must watch. Especially if you're from that era.

eta: another reason to love this show is bc there is no laugh track and fake set.

It is truly a fantastic show. Love the dynamic and the way they play the characters. They casted incredibly.

Blackish is surprisingly good as well. Thought I would hate it, but I love it.

My only issue with The Goldbergs has popped up the past couple of episodes. They completely bombed the audio on a few lines. Momma Goldberg apparently had to change some lines, or redo them, and it sounds like they recorded it over the phone. Literally the worst dubbing I've ever heard on a basic or cable tv show. It's highschool drama class movie bad. It's brutal. My only guess is they noticed they needed it in post production and couldn't get her back in because filming had wrapped.

ABC is our go to right now. Between my wife and I we watch:

Revenge
Secrets and Lies
DWTS
Agents of Shield
Forever(I love this show, but it's dead)
Blackish
Goldbergs
Nashville
HTGAWM
Grey's

Last Man Standing
Cristela(meh but watchable)

Beverly Goldberg's constant use of bleeped out F bombs is hilarious to me.

wife and i love this show, and it's probably my favorite show on tv right now.

Barry rapping gets me everytime.
Erica is hot.
I love how the episodes are based off of some original video or picture. Can't believe he recorded that much of his life back then. VHS recorders were frickin expensive.

the bleeped out F bombs are hilarious but they need to quit having one every episode. I liked it when it was once ever 4 or 5 shows.

Great show. The casting for all of the parts is spot-on. The dad cracks me up every time he walks in the door and drops his pants.

Great sitcom. It has been quality every week, and as someone with a dumbass older brother, a hardass dad, and a Jewish mother who grew up in the 90s in Ascension Parish (essentially the early 80's anywhere else), I can relate to the show immensely. We even had a Betamax

Love the Goldberg's. OP says it all.

If you like the Goldberg's, you should try Fresh off the Boat. Same style of comedy, just change the decade from the 80's to 90's. Both work for me since I grew up in both decades.

I also could be biased about Fresh off the Boat because I'm Chinese and I grew up in Orlando.

I caught this on tv this week and wasn't paying attention.. But I kept hearing a voice that I thought was Marge Simpson and I look up and it's the young kid.. Pretty wild to me. Don't notice it until I look away

Barry always wearing his Flyers shirts.

Bev ALWAYS has shoulder pads on.

The Dad takes his pants off the second he gets home from work.

So much to love. Enjoy.

Eh, he's kind of a weenie push over.

Anyway, this show definitely didn't have the second season slump. Funny show.

Damn good show. Nice to be able to watch a show with my three year old and not have to worry about the ear muffs.

I love that they pull pop culture from all over the 80's rather than sticking to a strict timeline like The Wonder Years. Great show. Probably the second funniest show on the big 4 right now.
