It and the middle are the two best comedies on TV currently.

I just started watching this show a few months ago and I've enjoyed the hell out of it. It reminds me of a more comedic version of The Wonder Years

I need to watch this. I've had it on and meant to watch but get distracted and then said "meh" but that's my fault. I loved the 80's, grew up in them, and miss them sometimes. Can this be watched with Netflix or Roku or do I need to dl?

Good show. I see Marc Maron has an interview with Adam Goldberg on his WTF podcast. Saving it for an upcoming road trip.

That's exactly what this is. It's fantastic. Can't believe I waited so long to watch it.

It's an awesome show, and I didn't even live through the 80s

Our family watches it and enjoys it, although sometimes the pop culture continuity can drive me nuts. Goldberg's home videos at the end always crack me up.

It and The Middle are my sons' favorite shows.

I like it. Sirens and this are the two comedies I watch most often.

It has similarities to the wonder years. (which is my all time favorite sitcom)

Wayne is the greatest older brother character in TV history, but Barry is quickly moving up the ranks.

Erica finally admits she likes Jeff and he finds another girl. That's good for her.

Awesome show. The OP says it all. I love seeing the subtle props like Barry's Structure rugby shirts. My kids love it too

Just watched the shirt episode, and it had one of the funniest lines I've heard in a while:

*At the shirt memorial thing*

Grandfather: That's what this is? A shirt funeral? I missed a real funeral for this!

This season has been awesome.

I keep expecting the show to decline at some point but I still enjoy it as much as I did in S1 if not more.

I love that they pull pop culture from all over the 80's rather than sticking to a strict timeline like The Wonder Years.

Easily the best decision they made when getting this sitcom rolling in the beginning. As we all know, had they stuck to a strict timeline, there would inevitably been some mistake where a song was played before it was released on some product was worn before or long after it should have, and it would have broken the internet. Instead, they told the internet to get bent right off the bat, stick with "It was April 4th 1980 something..." and then can use anything from the entire decade. Really brilliant call...

And yeah...Barry has become one of my favorite characters on TV. Just line after line if of goodness...
