I'm glad they didn't show Carrie Fisher's face. Hopefully it's not in the movie much. She'll probably have duck lips like she does in EVERY picture of her i've seen the last year.

Star Wars nerds don't get Star Wars
It's an adventure serial. You can't nerd out on it without the fun of it going over your head
I hate the prequels and its a great what could have been (or what shouldn't have been) discussion, but does it ruin the OT? Nope
The only thing for Star Wars fans to be pissed about is the special edition, but really lucas' refusal to give us the originals

The prequels.
The damn prequels.
There were two fatal flaws for the prequels:
1. Lucas sought to capture another generation of kids with the prequels and he failed miserably. Harry Potter owns the generation of kids that Lucas was after. Harry Potter is their Star Wars. He wasted those movies making them for kids.
2. CGI insanity.
The good news is that those monumental mistakes and the hate and disappointment they are responsible for are going to be the driving force behind good, well crafted movies starting with 7.

Me too. That's going to be really awkward and uncomfortable to look at. Cosmetic surgery might improve looks (in a bizarre kind of way), but it's hard to believe a serious, noble character who also gives that much of a shite about her looks. It'd be like John McClain with hair plugs.
Nipping and tucking and Star Wars don't really mix, thematically.

I thought she was in her mid to late 60s for some reason but looked it up and damn she still in her 50s.

The 06 releases have the original theatrical versions. Unfortunately, they aren't anamorphic widescreen and were ripped from the 93 Laserdiscs.
