So many memories of my parents dancing in the kitchen/living room while Percy Sledge's record played in the big console record/8 track/amfm radio furniture.

He used to live on the same street as my friend in Montocello subdivision. In the early 90's Percy's yard was green astro turf.

I remember growing up, we'd see him shopping at Wal Mart. My mom would say "that's Percy Sledge". As kid, I had no clue who he was. I wonder who will perform at car dealership labor day sales.
