So many memories of my parents dancing in the kitchen/living room while Percy Sledge's record played in the big console record/8 track/amfm radio furniture.

RIP Mr Sledge, you brought happiness to so many!

He used to live on the same street as my friend in Montocello subdivision. In the early 90's Percy's yard was green astro turf.

I remember growing up, we'd see him shopping at Wal Mart. My mom would say "that's Percy Sledge". As kid, I had no clue who he was. I wonder who will perform at car dealership labor day sales.

Actually remember him putting on a concert at the Franklinton Fair when I was in High School there. RIP
