I know it is probably not realistic, but it would be great to see a real test of both QB's and close to the same level of challenge as possible.

More likely, it will be meaningless for any of us to make a determination from.

Still though, its football !!!!!

Wait til Saturday at about 3:00. Everyone on this board will be making meaningless determinations from what they see.

If Harris goes something crazy like 12 for 15, 230 yards and 3 TD and Jennings is like 8 for 17, 98 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT and then gets named starter in the fall the board WILL indeed shut down.

Miles said himself it will be a super vanilla practice

I think the defenses will wreck shop. If the Qbs look at least average against them I'll be excited.

If it's a true competition and open then Harris should get the first reps and look come Spring Game. Otherwise Miles is still sensitive to one guy

Spring Game FIFY...

as per usual with the Spring Game... it'll be fun because we get to see the Tigers suit up and play against each other in Death Valley but it's essentially meaningless.

whatever analysis you take away from the game needs to be gleaned with a massive grain of salt.

Jennings will play with the Ones and complete 45% of his passes but will hit a long one to Dural or something for a TD against the defensive Twos.

Harris will be average with the Twos against the Ones but will still score 3 TDs.

We'll know nothing after the game and the coaches won't either.

They will shut it down and head to Fall and Jennings will be your starter. We won't even think about a change until we lose 2 games.

That is the deal. Why think otherwise?

1. Spring games are NOT games. They are controlled and scripted scrimmages.
2. Performance in the final scrimmage of the spring has no more bearing than performance in any of the other spring practices.
3. The single use of fan determinations is as high comedy.
