A lot of blemishes have been covered up this year by the play of Carey Price. It's all coming home to roost right now. The same things that critics have been saying all year are the things that are proving to be our downfall. It's not like it was a secret. Price was the be all and end all of this team all year. Unless upgrades are made to improve this team offensively, and I would suggest also unless upgrades are made to the coaching of this team, then we can expect more of the same next season.

Does The Molson's want to pay that much? They're notoriously cheap when it comes to coaches.
I can see Babcock in Toronto before Montreal. I think Montreal has to have a guy with Quebec ties. I think Roy is up next.

The Wings want to give him $3 million, but any more than that and he can GTFO. He has said he wants no part of management. I believe something like Toronto is out of the question because he doesn't want a rebuild. Only thing keeping him in Detroit is the wife and kids, and the kids are mostly grown up, I think.
