Even without the alter ego, Jennifer Walters is a pretty interesting character on her own.

She Hulk and Ms Marvel are better known characters but it sounds like it isn't Ms Marvel and She Hulk would be too derivative of the regular Hulk for the casual fan IMO.

Something that would be interesting would be the Mockingbird or the Wasp? A love match for either Hawkeye or Pym... even a character like Captain Marvel (Spectrum) would be a good choice since she could potentially interact with the Avengers planetside and an outgrowth like Nova/Guardians of the Galaxy.

But yeah, it will probably be Nebula and tie in with Thanos for the infinity guantlet stuff

It specifically said in the article that Captain Marvel would not be in the movie, so I would think that rules out Danvers. And it said it's someone we are already familiar with, so I doubt it's She-Hulk since she hasn't been introduced yet.

I'm thinking it's either Skye, Nebula, or Bobbi.

Is the extra scene considered "the movie," though?

That is what I was wondering.

Danvers isn't in the movie, but does it mean she isn't in the credit scene?

I hope it is Danvers. Marvel really needs a hard hitting female character.

No more Black Widow-like characters. Gamora is too weak too. Don't bring in Agent 13.

Give us someone who can challenge the big guns of the Marvel universe.

She'll be a cool character and should work well for Carano.

Not too complicated. Her power is basically super strength for short periods of time.

which does make Danvers the logical choice. I'm partial to the Spectrum/Captain Marvel character but she's not very big in pop culture so that's almost certainly a no go

I know she's not that well known, but Aldrif Odinstotter (Angela) can more than hold her own against the big guns...and she's more than a little crazy too.

Instead of stunt casting, like potentially making Iron Fist Asian(because he knows martial arts-which is actually pretty racist) or making the Human Torch black (and making the black guy play the irresponsible womanizer)

Adapt Spectrum,Blue Marvel, Amadeus Cho *and Shang-Chi.

Cho is on the way if AoU leads us to believe.

Here is what was stated in the article:

quote:

Additionally, Feige shot down the rumor that Captain Marvel would show up in Age of Ultron, although he did note that a secret female character would appear, one that fans might already be familiar with. "It's not a big deal. But it's a good character," he said.

I'm guessing that the Feige probably wasn't even talking about the credits scene in that paragraph. But even if he was, I would assume that he would consider that part of the AoU (my assumption of course).

Also it said that the female character would be one that the fans are already familiar with. So since Danvers hasn't been introduced in any of the other movies or on AoS, then I would also assume that she would not fall into that category either. Now maybe he was talking about comic book fans, and not movie/tv fans. But I took it had the movie/tv fans.

ETA: And if he was talking about comic book fans, then introducing Ms. Marvel would be a pretty big deal them...I would think.

Here's one completely out of left field:

Since a certain Netflix series hits this Friday, what about a certain sai-wielding assassin?
