You disagree that telling people they are receiving free health care while instead purposely infecting them with and denying them known treatments for syphilis to study the painful effects and their eventual deaths is just as horrifying as dissecting people while alive?
Both are disgusting science experiments that inflicted incredible amounts of pain before the victim's deaths.

War crimes and catching war criminals out a serious strain on Post-war relations between the countries. They eventually pardoned just about everyone and everything in order to just put it in the past and move on.

You're correct. The behavior of the Soviet's towards the German civilian population once they reached German soil was something Europe had seen the likes of since the days of Genghis Khan. The truth of the Eastern Front is there really was no good side there, they were about equally horrible.

no doubt, the soviets were as vile if not worse than the Nazi's themselves. Stalin sent millions of people to there deaths but that is always forgotten

When the next war breaks out, and we do seem headed that way with Russia experiencing hyper inflation and pouring money into its military, we will have one strange alliance.
I figure US, britain, germany, israel, pockets of the middle east, pakistan, india, japan, canada, south korea, and australia vs russia the old eastern bloc, china, north korea, and parts of the middle east.
For the most part I see the middle east being an avoided wasteland as it is unconquerable. France will be france.
