Overall a great action movie, some great scenes, and a good mix of funny and feels...though the shaky-cam stuff was way overdone. As you might expect, it isn't as car-centric as the first three were.

The last scene with Paul Walker was very tastefully done and will leave you with a knot in your throat. It wasn't just a goodbye from TF&TF, it was a goodbye for Paul.

Well they are making more so there's that.

When they were talking about no more funerals it was kind of surreal especially when Ludachris was telling that to Paul

A very, very good action movie and great movie all the way around. Definitely the best Furious movie. The last scene was very tastefully done.

bravo

bra fricking vo

is it. The PW stuff had me tearing up for sure. VD monologue and the montage. Wow, they really did an incredible job here.

Also, easily the best one they've ever made and I really do love this franchise.

That song that Wiz wrote for the PW stuff.

Just got out.

Movie is ridiculous, it is begging for a EWW episode. Still enjoyed it despite rolling my eyes more than a few times. The end is definitely enough to make a grown man who has watched all 7 get lump in his throat. The grown man being me. Well done.

I'd rather get Paul Walker'd than sit through another one of these movies.

Saw it tonight. It was the worst of the last three movies imo

Spoiler*

Just got out of it. I thought the movie was seriously way too over the top and yes i do expect some of this with this franchise, but the other ones were better imo except tokyo drift, which was complete crap. The cars parachuting out the plane was cool, but when statham and vin decide to play chicken and wreck the cars not once but twice was freaking retarded and i literally laughed.

The tribute at the end was well done though.

Saw it last night and thought it was great. I'll have to watch it again when it's out on dvd, but it's the best in the series imo.
It was way over the top, but you know that going in. Just a fun action movie and a great close to one of my favorite franchises. Including Statham, Russell, Rousey, and Djimon made it feel bigger than ever and they certainly didn't disappoint.

Like many said, the Paul Walker tribute was nicely done and left me with a lump in my throat

The ending was somber, I liked it but liked the last movie better.

Spoiler :

The car jumping from building to building was stupid, but in a cool way. I liked that scene.

I lost it when Johnson performed the Rock Bottom on Statham

Also, Russell wielding double pistols brought back memories of him in Tombstone.

Saw it yesterday. Might be the worst movie I've seen in recent memory. Great action scenes, but I could not even remotely force myself to care about anything going on. The Rock's character was the most cliche, horrible character I've ever seen. The race-starter girl in the beginning was indeed beyond ridiculous. Ending was nice. The wife had tears, and she NEVER cries during movies. I cry three times EVERY time I watch Good Will Hunting, but I am constantly telling her she has no heart when she doesn't cry in some movies. That ending got her finally.

That was a perfect ending to the franchise. I really hope they don't make an 8 or 9 even though they have plans to. That tribute was a tearjerker

I enjoyed the movie, but I do not think it was the best one after the first time seeing, perhaps once it comes out on TV and I see it again then maybe.

1) I get Statham's character was a bada$$ but the opening scene with him in the hospital and then the fight with Hobbs were a bit much
2) Too much camera flipping during fight scenes
3) Not enough Hobbs!
4) Of all the fight scenes not one drop of blood was shed
5) Michelle Rodriguez usually doesn't do a whole lot for me, but man her in that bikini and in that red dress was

6) Rousey was a nice addition, just enough screen time
7) Kurt Russell I thought did a good job
8) I get this franchise does over the top stuff, but man they are starting push the boundaries a bit too far with using the flying cars 3 separate times
9) The ending was indeed very, very well done...The montage showing 14 years of this cast together and how many scenes this franchise has brought us was pretty nice
10) I enjoyed the movie and will watch it again once it comes out on tv....They could have killed off Statham (seriously how did he not die) and ended the franchise, but if they make more I will continue to watch them!

After thinking about it some more.

7 was definitely the weakest of the last 3. I like it but the story just didnt hold up to the previous two. There was almost too much going on with the plot/story.

Why the hell do they make Dom out to be some all knowing and wise Yoda like character now. Every one of his lines is like the biggest line of a movie.

Needed more of the Rock but apparently his scheduling was too crowded. He is great for this series because the cheesy lines are executed perfectly by him.

Stathams character was really good and im glad they didnt kill him off. I can see him coming back in 9 or 10 if they go that far.

Tyrese's character is pointless now. Besides the Blarab joke, none of his jokes are funny. He really serves no purpose in the group.

I thought they tried a little too hard with including past minor characters into the movie.

The Paul send off was good but I really thought they had about 10 more minutes left in the movie. Movie just kind of abruptly ended imo.
