If you see a hippo in the Amazon, run for your life because he will be lost and probably pissed off.

If you see a hippo in the Amazon it most likely belonged to Pablo Escobar at some point.

Seems like Deion Jones could really fit that wild card role with how fast he is

I believe Steele will figure out an effective LB rotation for the upcoming season and we know there is incredible talent at DB.

I just hope he and Orgeron, esp. Orgeron, can develop a good DL rotation and depth--maybe even a more effective pass rush than last season. Need to avoid having Goudchaux and Lacoutre having to play so many snaps.

I don't think you watch much of Nat Geo if you think hippos live in South America...

Why did the defense change? The defense was very successful and the kids already know the calls and the schemes. Just add a few of your own wrinkles and adapt accordingly.
This just gives the negatigers validation when they said Chavis was running the D and Miles the O, because only a few route combinations changed between coordinators.

It's shite like this that makes me embarrassed to post on this forum.

We bout to hippo all over the SEC.

If it keeps us from blowing seven games over the next five years in the final minutes of the 4th quarter, I'm all for it.

What if the Hippo package has Beckwith and Garrett on the field at the same time?

This could be quite amazing if it happens.

The first thoughts immediately turn to stopping the run & rightfully so. This change should get bigger bodies flowing in the direction of the ball carriers. What seems to be getting overlooked is the different pressure looks that Steele will be able to throw at opposing offenses. This has the smell of being a more confusing, unpredictable defense from a presnap aspect. Opposing offenses won't be able to determine actually where blitzes are coming from for the majority of the time. Expect more pressure, more sacks & more turnovers. I really like the sound of this. It will put the offense on shorter fields at times then they have been over the last 2 seasons.

Dude, it really sounds like they have a want for hunger. One could even call them hungry. One could then extend to say they're hungry hippos. And man, what an awesome game.
