Was there the week prior to MG, and drink around the world - and I was surprised on how good the Grapefruit beer in Germany was....

Not to mention if you want to do things like Soarin and Test track you're shite out of luck because you can only choose one of them for your FP+. It wasn't terrible, but I prefer the old method with the paper tickets.

We usually get a FP for Soarin, then get to EP at park open and ride Soarin or Test track. We then use our FP. If we ride Soaring 2x (with FP), then we just do the single rider line at Test Track

I'm staying at Coronado in two weeks.

Its not horrible, it is a Disney hotel, I think it was designed as a conference location first. Our biggest problem was bus transportation. There was a conference there at the same time.

We ended up just taking our car to the parks. The front desk gives you a parking pass, that also allows to park free at the parks.

We need a Disney Resort ranking.

Boardwalk - having 2 parks in your backyard is very convenient Swan/Dolphin - (see above) Pop Century - good value Old Key West - big rooms Animal Kingdom - having animals outside your window is quite the perk All Star - best value Coronado - complex is too large, hard to navigate

would put Animal Kingdom first and Hollywood last. Epcot 2nd and MK 3rd.

This would be my ranking as well. Every comment I heard about Animal Kingdom mentioned only staying half a day. Our family really enjoyed this park and the food is so much better than at MK. We stayed past close eating at Yak an Yeti and had a great time.

They are nice, I just don't spend enough time in my room during a Disney trip, to warrant some of their prices

Animal Kingdom doesn't have as much as some of the other parks, but if you do Finding Nemo Musical and Festival of the Lion King (which is in my opinion the best show in any park with the biggest collection of talent) you're adding probably 2.5 - 3 hours right there. Take a trip out to the conservation station and thats another hour as well. Walk the pagani forest, add another 30 minutes. Do the safari, the ride itself takes usually 25 minutes, etc.

It's a slow paced park that you can get done in no time if you skip a bunch of stuff but if you take advantage of what it has to offer it can be an all day park.

We usually hit a lunch at Tusker House (best buffet on property) if we don't do Flaming Tree then make sure we hit an early dinner at Sanaa at AKL Lodge before the sun goes down so we can see all of the animals.

To me, the value of a deluxe resort is not in how nice the room is but the other benefits you get with it. Beach Club you get Stormalong Bay and if you go when it's hot is plain awesome. Plus, the option to walk to two parks and take the monorail to MK by wakling through Epcot. You can go for a week and hit a Disney bus only on the days you go to Animal Kingdom.

Bay Lake /Contemporary is perfect for kids and families who still go to MK alot, like us.

The biggest different between the values and moderates are the fact that the values don't have a table service dining options and they don't have hot tubs.

I can deal without table service dining at my resort, but a hot tub to me is almost a MUST. Our last trip we did three days at AoA before checking into Beach Club and it was nice, but once you've done deluxe it's hard to go back.

All I need is a pillow and quick transportation to the parks.

We're thinking about dragging the RV down on the next trip. I think Fort Wilderness is around $70 per night for a campsite.

Stayed there three years ago. Enjoyed it a lot. We're going again next month and doing a combo park and Disney cruise. Staying at the Wilderness Lodge this time. I'm going to miss not being on the monorail line.
