The basic rule of thumb is pick the #1 seeds to win their first game over the 16s then it really doesn't matter. Go crazy, and don't stress because your bracket is busted, and don't go around telling everyone how you almost had a great bracket if 5 of your team's wouldn't have lost a close game. No one likes that guy.

Root for the underdogs even if you picked the favorite, have a beer at noon and have fun.

nowadays im lucky to play in a single pool

just too busy and don't get up with CBB as much as I use to

and Im a homer and always have LSU advancing too far...it did work out for me one year though

My record of picking #2's to lose in the second (third now) round is terrific, sometimes it's harder picking whether the 7 or 10 will do the deed. Other than that, I'm middle of the pack like most people.

I actually wish there was a way to get credit for picking a top seed to lose, almost like shorting them, even if you don't get the team beating them right.

I hate when I 100% think a team is overrated and will lose but I get the 7/10 or earlier game wrong so I get no points for the upset.

I usually pick Kansas and Villanova losing in the third round. If LSU is in the tournament, I always pick them losing in the round before I think they will go out so in case they lose early it doesn't hurt in the long run. Finally pick 4 teams seeded 10-14 going to the sweet 16.
