So I bought a new car at the beginning of the year and didn't get the plates until a little over a week ago.

I got a parking ticket in Mid-City during Endymion with my temporary tags.

I have since put my new, legit Louisiana plate on...

Should I just not pay the $40 ticket?

I can't imagine there's enough information that they'll be able to track me down..?

Just pay the damn ticket and quit trying to beat the system.

You're just like the rest of them.

Did they write your VIN down? If so, they will find you.

You could probably get away with it, but you never know when it will come back to bite you years down the road....not worth the risk, IMO...

They won't "track you down" but they sit and wait till you do it again, then Boot your car.

Then the $40.00 will be $175 plus all the "extras". Pay it and be done.

Karma.

tickets in NOLA go by the license plate, I know for a FACT when you change your plate, all prior tickets no longer show up when the new plate is ran.

Enjoy the boot on your car if you don't pay it.
