The game was great and even had esports potential. Primarily, it suffered from shallow content, which sort of gave it a low skill ceiling, even lower than COD games. Secondly, applying to PC, it had no discriminators for the platform (because it was, after all, an XBox game first and foremost). It even left in the heavy aim assist that actually gave skilled controller users an upper hand on PC. Third, it suffered from severe team balance issues and technical bugs in the beginning, and the patches were slow to release and never 100% solved the issues on the first try, so interest was waning even faster than it would have. If you're judging it for its goal of being the super flagship, ultra exclusive game of the year that was going to accelerate XBox sales, then yeah, that failed. But the game was good for what it was. I put in a couple hundred hours, and I imagine I'll put in at least that many with the next one.

Yeah that was more my point. If the game started with all the content it has now then I think it would have done better. It has a ton of potential as a series.
Respawn had a relatively small team to work with iirc, so hopefully the 2nd version will have a bit more staying power.

Sounds like destiny. It got too much hype and now people exagerrate the bad and ignore the good.

I will buy it. The game was really well done and fun. Just didn't have enough to keep everyone playing.
I would think they realized this and will fix it. They just needed more game modes and stuff.

Will buy. Will play. Do want some form of single player campaign.

I find it funny that the first one got knocked for not including a campaign when a good number of people will tell you that they rarely touch the SP in shooters anymore.

I didn't touch it on CoD Ghosts, but love it On Halo and play it alot on Destiny

Who disliked Titanfall? The gameplay was great and it was really well received. It just had a short lifespan due to a lack of content and it's repetitive nature.
I liked it. Like you said though, just had next to no replay value. I played it for 3 weeks I think.
Need many more Titans since that's your freaking namesake.

Yeah, I'd like to see more titans with possibly more customizations to them as well. Either way, I just need more reason to want to keep playing. I think I was up to Gen 8 or so before I gave up on the original TF.
I do remember being very sad that I couldn't wall run/jump when I made the switch to Destiny.
That took some getting used to, especially when you're running on the moon(a place wall running should be plausible).
