1. Maxx Williams - Minnesota
2. Nick O'Leary - Florida State
3. Clive Walford - Miami
4. Jesse James - Penn State

I expect we'll select one of these guys w/ our 2nd or 3rd round pick. Perhaps Williams if he falls to 31, either way I'm confident we can find someone to replace Graham.

I don't think there is any chance the Saints use one of their picks in the first 3 rounds on a TE. It's not necessary.

Defense is much more important.

I like Maxx Williams lot but I doubt we will get him because he will be gone by the time we are looking for a TE. I see us go all on Defense with our first 3 picks.

So, think we will grab either Clive Walford and Jesse James. at 3rd or 5th round.

Ben Koyack is a nice filer for a TE in the latter round too. Something to consider.

Lots of meh right there

Not a single one of them can do what Jimmy Graham can do.

Not looking to replace the Jimmy Graham. Just looking for a TE that can produce when Brees throws the ball to them.

I think it's a poor TE class. I like Funchess as a flex guy even though he was inconsistent in college but I would not target him in the 1st or 2nd rd. I would go front 7 and OL.

I agree with this.

This trade should solidify our offensive line. A very good center to make the calls and get everyone set up. I think this could help our guards out tremendously (if they remain on the team).

Meh. I wouldn't mind a guy like Leary in the 3rd or 4th, but certainly not top two rounds.

Pharaoh Brown, TE, Oregon
Height: 6-6. Weight: 250.
Projected 40 Time: 4.69.
Projected Round (2015): 4-6.

Jesse James*, TE, Penn State
Height: 6-7. Weight: 254.
Projected 40 Time: 4.84.
Projected Round (2015): 3-5.

Brown coming off a knee is the kinda player who can drop and that the Saints could get value for.

I like Maxx Williams a lot but I don't see us using a high pick on him

Did Brown declare for this draft? I don't remember seeing that he did, and I know he has another year of eligibility left, so I can't see him declaring coming off of that injury.

1. Jimmy Graham at the time of the draft couldn't do what Jimmy Graham does now.
2. I'm willing to beat the team isn't even looking for, or wanting a Jimmy clone. They would probably prefer a TE that can actually block, but also a be a threat in the passing game. I'm thinking that they are really high on Hill, which was another factor for the trade.
