Dear lord I've been all over the suburbs of Birmingham looking for rice vinegar for my sushi rice. Haven't found it anywhere!

It's pretty common. I'm surprised you're having difficulty. I would expect most large grocery stores carry it an even Wally World. Are you looking in the Asian section, also?
