Mandatory G. Dead shows

Been jamming to G. Dead a lot lately and with the amount of shows they have is difficult to pick the right one. What are some of the necessary shows that I need to listen to?

The Tuscaloosa and St. Louis shows from the May '77 run are pretty hot as well.

They were remastered last year and put into a 5 show CD set (called May '77) which sold out in a day or two. The shows are now available for download, even in hi-Rez audio if you desire!

I really like the 80s sound with Brent. Check out 7/17/89 at Alpine Valley as a place to start on that era.
