I've only been in for 6 months, and I'm with the band. I actually don't enjoy wearing acu's or asu's in public because I get "thanked" for my service quite a bit. It makes me uncomfortable because I've never deployed and I personally haven't done anything anyone needs to thank me for. shite, I love my job...no thanks needed!
