Host Andrew Zimmern brings "Bizarre Foods: Delicious Destinations" to New Orleans for an episode at 8:30 p.m. Monday (March 2) on the Travel Channel. His culinary choices this time aren't bizarre at all, as the series focuses on must-eat specialties in the cities it visits.

For Monday's episode, the show's cameras sample dishes at a half-dozen local favorites, including Johnny's Po-Boys, Commander's Palace, Antoine's and Café du Monde.

a show called "Bizarre Foods" with no bizarre foods. it's like when Adam Richman stopped eating, lost 100 pounds and still tried to give us a watered down version of Man vs. Food .

That's a list of tired places, but that's what the masses want to see. They want to eat at the same places as the swamp people and duck dynasty folks.

Sounds boring. The history and buildings are interesting and worth hearing about but the food is just good. Nothing to rave about.
