Ohio State certainly proved that they belonged this January.
After going 1-5 in their last 6 bowl games with their only win against a pac 12 team.

Good job

So stupid. If K State makes the NCAA tourney as a below .500 team and wins the championship, did they deserve to be there?

just so you know, i'm not an idiot that thinks OSU would lose 4 games in the SEC.
If they were in the SEC, they'd be of top tier team just like Bama/LSU/Auburn/UGA/UF are for the most part on most years. UF has sucked lately though. but the point is, they'd be a team that would win 10-11 games minimum every year, aside from a down year every so often.

Beating Vandy, Tennessee, Kentucky and A&M each twice isn't a difficult feat.
I applaud them for beating UF and UGA, USC, even though all 3 have been either bad or very inconsistent the last 2 years.

They haven't played LSU, Bo Jackson was reincarnated in the Super Tecmo Bowl for the SECCG against Auburn, and Bama made them look like they didn't belong on the same field as them recently.
They have been extremely lucky with scheduling.
It's pathetic when you go 7-1 in the SEC and no one gives you a shot in hell at winning the SECCG, not even a slight chance, b/c everyone knows you aren't a top tier team, your an average team that benefited from a very favorable schedule.

No program won more BCS games than Ohio State. Show us on the doll where Corch Myers touched you.

The FACT is Ohio State beat Bama in the south in January.

The FACT is Michigan State finished with 2 losses, to both teams who played for the title, and beat Baylor in TEXAS

The FACT is that a team OSU beat 59-0 took out Auburn in bowl games

The FACT is the B1G was the only conference with 2 of the top 5 teams in the country at year end

Oh Facts...they sure get in the way

To the OP: OSU beat Bama. Ole Miss and MSU were fringe top 15 teams last year who were exposed in November through bowl season. Everyone thought MSU was good until they realized their wins over A&M, Auburn and LSU weren't good at all. Ole Miss got exposed in their bowl game.

OSU/MSU/Wisky were better than the top 3 teams in the SEC in 2014 at the end of the year.

This year sure..

All time bowl record:
B1G: .453 W%
SEC: .570 W%

In championship games/playoffs
Big 10: 2-2
SEC: 9-3

Except UW lost to LSU so lol...

I'm not sure what else you can say other than this year OSU was good..? This one year doesn't change the nearly two decades of losing.. and definitely doesn't mean the SEC is now magically inferior to the Big 10

End of the Year Wisky beat Auburn...remind me of the Auburn/LSU score.

A lot of this "conference strength" is perception. It was perceived going into bowl games the SEC was better. That perception was wrong. The SEC got a lot of credit for winning titles, and rightfully so, but their 4-6 teams saw a huge benefit from that as well, being ranked inside the top 20 rather than other conferences 4-6 being ranked outside the top 25.

LSU/Auburn/A&M were not top 15 level teams last year, but all of them were up there based on the SEC's perception. Hell, people had A&M as the best team in the country after beating up on South Carolina.

The perception hasn't changed over night, i agree with you there, but it has begun to shift

No because OSU has something LSU doesn't have. A real QB! Three of them ready to step in while LSU doesn't have a functional QB.

This simply isn't true and there are endless stats to disprove it. The SEC's recent record vs the rest of the country is laughable. And most of the time middle of the pack SEC teams are playing top tier teams from the other conferences. Why do OSU fans have no clue? It's like y'all all got together and decided to just, we wrong.

that's a cute opinion.
I think Arkansas was better than every Big 12 team at the end of the year.
Isn't my opinion cute too, and stupid like yours?
