Do you enjoy writing?

I do, so not surprisingly, it's how I earn a living. And when it comes to commercial writing, I enjoy everything from advertising to public relations to editorial writing. I even like writing annual reports, so long as I'm spared the financials.
I even more enjoy–far more–writing songs and poems, especially songs. I spend a fair amount of my free time writing and playing.
How about you?
Naturally you like writing to some extent, otherwise you wouldn't be here. But away from this forum, do you do any other type of writing?

I prefer reading to writing.

Scientific writing and it's a completely different ballgame than your fluffy essay type writing. People will call you out on bullshite if you can't prove it scientifically

I've never had formal training in writing and never committed much time to it in my schooling. But I have a natural knack for it I think, and enjoy doing it.
I wish there were an "easy" way to make a good living off of it, but its so competitive in most cases is very much a "starving artist" kind of pursuit. It's easier for me to brush up my skills around business/finance to carve out a consistent living there. I'm too risk averse to to give it the attention required to ever pursue it as a way of life. Admittedly, I would need to expand my vocabulary as well for added credibility.
I'm not sure my interest would take me down the path of business/technical/grant writing where most of the stable career paths are.

Love writing.
I wish I had the cajones to actually be an author. As some have mentioned, it's very competitive. I prefer the comfort of a steady paycheck.
