Maybe!

The first article is form 2011, at that time C3s of all types had been declining in value for the previous five years, and projected to continue.
In 2013 and 2014 there was a spike in corvette prices, but other than the highest value collectables, most had not returned to their 2005 price level.

I disagree.

There may be spikes and valleys in prices, but collector cars are considered an excellent investment.

The OP does not have a particularly rare car, but he has a 4 speed AC car in red and they will always have a following.

I would bet it will at least keep up with inflation, plus it's actually fun.
