Will most LSU fans fly into Albany (2 hrs away)

Or maybe La Guardia/JFK, take a few days to enjoy Manhattan, then rent a car to travel to the game?

I looked at flights, it's about 315 to fly southwest from birmingham to la guardia in September

May as well fly into Buffalo a little early, hit up Niagara and maybe Canada, and then make the drive down early Saturday.

I'm driving up there from the NYC area, it's about a 4-5 hour drive, but it's not too bad.

I am. I am flying into Philly and a couple of my buddies from Jersey are going to take me up there. It will be a scenic route basically.

It looks like Toronto to Cuse is only 4 hours. Air Canada has a direct from Nola to Toronto which may be an option

If Cuse had a decent stadium or if the game would have been played at a neutral site (Yankee Stadium, MetLife, etc), I'd probably consider it. As it stands now, probably not.

Headed up from atl with my Destrehan/Tiger wife. We tell people we have a marriage of convenience where she gets my basketball and I get her football (though I do remind her what happened last time we played...and she rolls her eyes at me). This year I've got nothing for her except some NCAA sanctions.

I hope you all enjoy cuse and the central New York area. It's a fantastic time of year to go there. Tons to do and I trust you'll be welcomed.

I'll be flying up from BR or msy, not sure whether I'll fly into Buffalo, Rochester, Ithaca, Syracuse, or Binghamton. All of those are within 2 hours so not bad. If anyone has a passport, I'd suggest flying to buffalo and seeing niagara falls/heading across the bridge to canada for a bit. Plenty of casinos around there.

The people flying into philly, that drive on the northeast extension to scranton, then 81 up past binghamton to cuse is beautiful. Was my usual drive to and from school, 4 hours (can do it in 3.5). Watch out for cops on 81 though, those ny state police hide all over the place as soon as you cross state lines.

i was. Not looking good now.

Upstate New York to NYC is like the French Quarter to the rest of Louisiana in terms of differences.

Should be a great trip.

If you have the time go to Cooperstown to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Well worth the visit. Also, the Finger Lakes region is a beautiful area to the west of Syracuse.

Going to fly to Buffalo and do Niagara Falls and area for a few days. Drive to Syracuse for the game and then back to Buffalo to fly home.

We were actually thinking of a summer college tour to Syracuse, but this may work out better. Come in early, tour Syracuse and watch the Tigers. I'm not sure why my Southern son wants to go to Syracuse. He's a die hard LSU fan, but no desire to go to college there.
We were looking at flying into Rochester and going to Lake Placid and the mountains as well.
