Never thought I'd have ribs better than Stanley's. But I'm sitting in Pecan Lodge eating the best brisket and ribs I've ever had in my life.

Took some coworkers to Pecan Lodge for the first time not too long ago
I kept reading how awesome it was and I told everyone no way it would live up to the hype.
We all sat down after I expensed $150 worth of meat and when we all took our first bite we just looked at each other and said "holy shite".
Best brisket I've ever had. Ribs were top 5. Beans and sauce(nothing needed it) were amazing as well

Well I Feel like I just got neutered and Gris Gris is going to come burn your new pool house down.
I like Smittys ribs. They get a large pack and are the biggest pork ribs I've ever seen. Too many people focus on brisket when good ribs ans at leat in Lockhart, good shoulder clod can be found which I prefer. As much as I'm through Tyler I've never been to Stanley's so I'll make an effort.

Haven't seen Cousin's in Fort Worth mentioned. The original location on McCart. They do a nice job.
