Oh man that is funny.

I grew up in a neighboring town to Cosart and I'm the same age as him. Played ball against him since little league and always thought he was a giant tool.

Same by a long shot.

I was born in New Orleans but moved to League City when I was 3 because of dads work. Went to way more Astros games growing up because they were more affordable than the Rockets and we didn't have a NFL team most my childhood.

My pro allegiances go Astros>Rockets>Texans=Saints (I really don't care that much about NFL)

I will always like college football over NFL. I didn't really get into the NFL until high school fantasy football leagues.

Has anyone confirmed that Twitter account is actually the real Jared Cosart? isn't it pretty easy for anyone to register as any famous person if the name isn't already taken?

Secondly, it appears these texts were in regards to NCAA basketball..he would have to be the biggest moron in the history of morons to A) bet on baseball games period…B) bet on baseball games in which his team participated C) bet on games in which he pitched D) create a twitter handle with his real name E) POst anything about his gambling activities period on a public twitter handle with his name on it.

You are soooo desperate to have the Astros be the "losers " of the cosart trade.

He's probably just going to have to prove to them that he hasn't bet on baseball

If Cosart doesn't have an actual bookie, he's safe (assuming he did bet on baseball). I would guess he used an offshore site. But if he DID use a bookie, blackmail could be just around the corner.
