Do you take them back and complain or just suck it up?

How much is too many dead ones in the sack?

Youll always have a few. If half of them are dead then you should complain obviously

A 5 pound order with 2 potatoes yesterday in Laffy was $38.99. You do the math...

Most of the crawfish that have their tails sticking out weren't dead. A lot of times its just too crowded and they can't tuck their tails before they die.

Eta: you are probably talking about live though.

This time of year it better be at least 5 lbs to call and complain or ask for refund.

I had a lady bring me 2 lbs dead in a ziplock(off 3 sacks) asking for her money back. I have her $5 and told her to never come back.
