So who's the slot this season?

We have a boat load of athletes, national record holder the real TQ, #1 recruit of 2015 TBJ, and lil Fournette! Not leaving donte and Dillion out. Who's gonna be the man? If we throw it!

Im not sure yet. It will come down to competition in spring and fall camp. Honestly between Dural, Diarse, Dupre, Johnson, Quinn, Dillon, L Fournette, Guice, Williams, D Smith, Brossette, along with a deep talented and veteran offensive line, we have weapons literally everywhere. If cam cannot get either QB to play at at least a decent level, he should be replaced. That offense is saturated with talent.

Strictly the slot next year... Diarse, Quinn, Tyron, Dillon in that order.

Still going to be Diarse and Quinn.
The problem is going to be - Upchurch, Spears and AP haven't seen the field (or at least not much) yet - how long can we keep these guys on the bench - especially throwing 18 to 25 times a game (and 25 is optimistic, I'll grant you)?
And that's just assuming that everyone coming in redshirts (which will be tough with Tyron Johnson, for sure.)

It will work the way it should work. Freshmen will sit and learn while the upperclassmen, who are just as talented, will play nearly mistake free.
Quinn and Diarse will play the slot. Every now and then a super fast freshman might get a jet sweep.

They could move Diarse to QB and free up a WR spot.

Dillon and TJ might be faster than TQ, but I know without a doubt TQ's hands/route running will be significantly better than any other slot option.
That being said, id rather TQ at X after Dural leaves, just because he is white doesn't automatically make him a slot receiver.

I see the main receiving corp nucleus being the same as last year. With Dural, Dupre, Diarse and Quin leading the tram in receiving in that order. If any Freshmen overtakes Quinn then it would be TJ, but still think TJ waits in line his freshmen year. Dillon definitely will wait in line. He is a fabulous athlete, but with proven commodities, it would not be smart to change up the receiving corps next year. Just need Brandon Harris to step up and get them the damn ball.

Tyron should be our 3rd WR by midseason. As DeltaDoc said, Quinn is about to be the odd man out. No way in hell Tyron redshirts.

Tyron Johnson easily. Dural will be our vertical threat, Malachi is the possession red zone threat with speed, Diarse is great with the psychical comeback routes and Tyron has the quickness to be a crossing route slot guy.
Quinn, Dillon, Peterson, and Chark will see the field but I feel like those 4 have a crazy combination to be something special.

Key phrase: "If we throw it"
We have some freak athletes at the position, but it doesn't matter who gets the snaps if you don't have a QB that can get them the ball. Would love to see Miles get Harris more snaps in the 3rd and 4th quarter of some of these blow outs.

The 2 guys who are locked in with starting spots are Dural and Dupre IMO.
We will most likely see a rotation between Diarse, Quinn, Johnson, Dillon, Chark, etc. for the #3 and #4 spots.
Regardless, all of them will see the field IMO. All bring something different to the table as well, which is a good thing. But you gotta think Tyron Johnson will emerge ad the man at some point towards the 2nd half of the season.
All I know is that we have a lot of talent at the WR spot with a lot of diff skill sets. All will play.

Trey's gonna surprise a lot of y'all. Knowing him makes me biased but he's one of those guys that really hates not performing is going to be the hardest on himself. You wouldn't believe the extra time he's been putting in. The DB's have said and still say he's the hardest to cover and runs the best routes. People forget he was still second in receiving
That said, Tyron Johnson is the real deal. He's going to push for playing time somewhere. Interesting tidbit though, while coming out of high school he was ranked higher than Trey, the numbers on his individual attribute ratings are lower than Trey's on 247. A lot of his billing is based off of his potential. The reason TQ didn't get a fifth star is because he's already pretty polished and recruiting services like to give 5th stars to guys they think have the potential to be game changers. Sometimes they're right, sometimes not so much. And sometimes the lower rated guys pass the higher rated ones up. We should go off of what we know and everything from the team says TQ is a stud. There is a reason he came in and started Game 1 without a spring camp.
