Lsu needs to think outside the box when recruiting HS QB's. How many out of Alabama, lsu, aTm, Arkansas, miss st, ole miss, Florida, Missouri, or others have started or made it in the league (minus stafford).

Maybe instead of focusing on the top prospects lsu should try to find someone that fits our system and after a year or 2 of coaching can step in and be a good QB.

Yeah I know well these QB's from other mid major conferences aren't going up against sec defenses but hey some of them make it to the league (more than lsu or other sec powers have produced) and go up against nfl defenses.

agreed...we are def getting qbs that dont fit our system...and one problem with the last part of this quote...recruits now feel like they are entitled to come in and start right away and get butt hurt if they dont...i remember the days when recruiting classes come in and you wouldnt see them on the field until two years later(majority of them anyway) but now we are fighting to get a freshman qb out there to start..

Show me any high school in LA that runs a pro-style offense.
