Look, I don't care if you downvote me. I use mobile unless at my desk. You can't even see downvotes on there.

If you want to downvote me every time I make a post, go for it dude. I was just answering the guy's question because someone asked me last week the same thing and I chalked it up to y'all.. who just happen to have all entered a thread you weren't posting in when I was responding to another person... yet you're not following me. You do you, man. If it is entertaining for you, who am I to stop you?

My wife used Yelp for a bad experience with a plumbing company. Dudes never showed up, twice.

She left a negative response about the situation...low and behold the Plumber guy calls me all pissed off and threatening to sue, telling me he called multiple times and that we weren't home, they rang the doorbell, etc. We here home both times. I tell him to go ahead and call his lawyer.

Like, a month later, his lawyer sends me a certified letter about the Yelp review, telling me that if I don't take it down, he will sue for defamation, etc. I knew he would send this letter, so i called him and let him know that if he sues me, I will counter-sue, based on the fact that my phone bills show that he never called. His helper guy just simply never showed up, because his helper guy kept dialing the wrong number on purpose just to get out of doing work, chalking it up as "customer not home". To make things worse, the plumbing company was adding fake 5 star reviews to their company, which Yelp saw and started whacking reviews left and right. The plumber never mentioned this to his lawyer.

We had a nice conversation. I got an apology and never heard back from them.

TLDR; Plumber is dumb

Don't worry, this stuff is short lived over here.
