Why would you expect a different map to come up in the game mode that for the Beta, only had one map?

No, it had 3. One game mode just had one map in the rotation. The other two game modes had the other two in their rotation.

3 maps is fine but I dont want to hear any complaining about the new maps because they weren't available to beta test.

It's common courtesy for the developers to include all the content in a beta If they want a full test of the game.
