It will take a long win streak with a few upsets to go with it. Otherwise losses like Mizz, A&M and today will be what keeps us out.

TAMU was/is higher RPI than we were entering the game today. People need to quit talking about that as a bad loss.

Didn't think we were gonna make it before this game. I think we lose another 4 games. 22-9 from SEC is not going to get us in, unless we make a great run in the SEC tourney (which our program does not have a habit of doing).

Bad losses: Mizzou, MSU
Good Wins: WVU

Think we lose to UK, Ark, A&M (again), Tenn. This is best case scenario. Worst case we drop one of UF, Tenn (at home), Aub.

Beating Kentucky would be a huge statement. I think we need 12 wins in conference to guarantee a spot, but that'll be very difficult at this point. 11 will be close.

A healthy Patterson will get us there.

The two give away games to Mizzou and A&M hurt. The margin for error is slim!

We might still get in as an at large, but as a 12/13 seed will be one and done. The lack of discipline around free throws, inbound passing under pressure and lack of movement without the ball on offense is really frustrating. Such a shame as the defense is really good...sound familiar?

Yes, the SEC is a weak basketball conference.

But if, after the SECT, we have single-digit losses, I think we are a lock for the dance.

The 10th loss would kill our chances, unless it's in the tournament finals.

Man the doom and gloom on this board today is hilarious.
7-3 through the rest of the SEC schedule gets us in. That is doable. We just need to get Patterson back.

We are projected as a 10 seed right now, according to Lunardi.

If we just avoid another bad loss, we'll be alright.

Auburn would be a bad loss, so need to get back to the winning ways.

Tourney? Who knows? This team needs to grow up and focus. To the degree they can be a team and not a "me" may become the deciding factor.

The equalizer has ben our friend lately:

Mizzou loss equalized by a Georgia win

A&M loss equalized by two big road wins at Florida and Vandy

This loss? It must be equalized by upsetting the best college team in the country at home. Surely we can do it, eh?

Probably not since this LSU team barely squeaks by unranked SEC teams each game every week and loses to unranked teams as well. NIT lock yes, NCAA pending. Beat KY and we will see.

A home conference loss to a ncaa bubble team and 2 conference road losses do not knock you out of the ncaa tournament. Its like no one on this board pays any attention to other games around the country. We arent the only team that loses every now and then.
