Must eat/see in Natchitoches?

Until this past December, I have never been into Natchitoches other than stopping at the gas station on the side of 49.
My wife, child and I went to the Christmas Festival on the river and I was pleasantly surprised at the riverfront restaurants and the whole feel down there.
We are planning on making a weekend trip soon and I was wondering what the best spots would be from breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We plan on staying at the Church Street Inn to be within walking distance of most things.
Also any sightseeing recommendations would be appreciated.

I hate to be a negitiger, but everything I need in Natchitoches, I can get from the gas station next to the IHop just off the exit.

They do have a Johnny's Pizza House, so there's that.

There used to be a nice seafood restaurant on the lake. I think it was on hwy 1 South of town. (It's been a long time so hopefully somebody else can confirm this).

Spent the night there on the way back to DFW from the Bama game. Merci Beaucoup, Maglieauxs, The Landing all have decent food. Drive out to Melrose plantation if you're up for a road trip. Front St. shops are kinda fun. Enjoy your weekend away.
