Mickey will be an immediate defensive force in NBA next year.

No offensive game to speak of but rim defenders are at a premium. Can get quality minutes right away. He'll be outahere pronto after the season.
Martin? He may leave but offers nothing that a hundred other highly touted one-on-one D1 ballers do. late 2nd round to Undrafted at this point.

Mickey should go, Martin doesn't have a prayer of making an NBA roster if he leaves this year.

Yea, I love how he can recover from constantly getting beat in time to swat it away

Except that Mickey is 6'8ish and can't play on the perimeter. And is not a good on ball defender.

This is the problem with why they think they should leave. So he should leave because he can block shots against some guards who probably won't even play in Europe? If there is a physical presence on the inside that can back him down, he's screwed. He's 6'8 225. That's a small forward in the NBA nowadays. People don't lay the ball up either, they will dunk it. He's essentially Tyrus Thomas, but Tyrus had way better offense. Tyrus lasted a few years in the NBA. He's an exceptional defensive talent in college, won't be in the NBA...assuming he ever even makes it there.

Maybe if he were three inches taller. Otherwise he should stay and develop a game away from the basket.

Mickey let's the post player get into his chest too easily. NBA bigs will feast on that; he needs to improve his defense before being a factor at the next level. But he has the potential to make it, which is more than 95% of college players can play.

Yea good luck going up against AD, Kevin love, zack Randolph, Blake griffin, ect

My man, LSU doesn't even protect the rim much.
Mickey is getting great backside college level blocks and collapsing swats against slower, shorter, or equal size collegians.
In the NBA, he would need to pick up SFs out at the arc or in open space, and would need to stay with them due their slashing and/or deep pull-up range.
Mickey may well play in the NBA, but there is plenty of work left to be done on his game. He needs strength/size added, he needs to extend his consistent shooting range another 5 to 8 ft, develop some more iso moves/slashing skills(as his best O material is vertical and moderately stationary stuff near the basket), better grip/driving to his weak side,Hoops IQ/Savvy, etc..
Martin? Don't even go there, he still needs plenty of NCAA work. If he bails early, he'll end up playing in Europe or MidEast.

Immediate defensive force?
What the frick?
Dude is abysmal at on ball defense. He will get shite on by NBA bigs if he leaves. Do you have any clue about basketball?

Lol whens the last time you watched an NBA game? Both Mickey and Martin would have to be insane to think they're ready to play in that league.

Mickey is a great shot blocker and below average defender

You give away post position in the NBA and you are done. Those guys know what to do with it.

He needs to hang around one more year so the team can look just like the Dale Brown teams with Macklin and Scales and Sims and Martin and so forth and so on.
Add Simmons and Blakeney to the mix and there will be no more excuses for JJ, but the team will never reach full potential because of X's and O's. But that's better than what's been seen in the PMAC for many years.........
